This project involved the refurbishment of the architect's own apartment in Brockley. The works were carried out on a extremely modest budget but involved a complete strip out of the space. Close attention to detail to allowed maximal use of space while also upgrading of the existing building fabric to achieve modern energy standards. Drama is added by the simple move of opening up the kitchen and integrating all the corridor with the apartment to become usable space.
