This project designed for Gregory Phillips Architects involved the creation of 2 large new houses on an L shaped site in Highgate. The two houses were carefully designed to read as a unified pair and particular attention was paid to creating a layout which would not allow for any overlooking between the 2 properties. The larger of the houses was located at the back of the site and therefore the design was developed to ensure that it maintained maximum privacy and seclusion while making the most of the elevated position and views across the woodland to the West. 

An ambitious brief was accomodated within a relatively small site - The larger house includes a secluded private garden, garaging, an indoor swimming pool, formal living and dining spaces, staff accomodation, a cinema and 6 bedrooms including the top floor with a dedicated master suite including a large en suite and dressing room. A sensitive site within the Highgate conservation area, planning was approved in 2016 with construction planned for 2017.
